Women's World Day of Prayer

The Women's Wold Day of Prayer service this year will be held at St James the Great on Friday 5th March 2010 at 10:15am. Each year, a different country (over 170 countries take part!) is responsible for arranging the service and, this year, it is the turn of the Cameroon ladies in the Gulf of Guinea. The theme is 'Let Everything that has breath, Praise God'.

It is an amazing thought that, throughout the 24 hours of 5th March, people somewhere in God's world will be meeting to worship and to pray together, with a common theme. Everyone is very welcome at St James, ladies, men and children! Coffee/tea and biscuits will be available after the service. Please spread the word amongst your friends and neighbours - we do hope to see you there!
